This Data Deletion Policy (“Policy”) explains how SKYSYNC TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. (“SkySynch,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles requests to delete personal data and certain business data processed through our advertising tracking, attribution, and analytics services available at skysynch.net (the “Service”). It supplements our Privacy Policy and should be read together with that document and our Terms of Service.
We are committed to data privacy, transparency, and meaningful user control. Where applicable law grants individuals rights to erasure or restriction (including, for example, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and similar regimes), we will respond to valid requests in line with this Policy and legal requirements.
SkySynch processes categories of data that may include account and billing information, technical and usage logs, configuration data you provide (such as campaign and integration settings), and event-level data related to advertising measurement (for example, clicks, conversions, device or network identifiers where permitted, and attribution signals).
A detailed description of categories of personal data, purposes, legal bases, retention, and international transfers appears in our Privacy Policy. This Policy focuses on how deletion requests are submitted, verified, and fulfilled.
Depending on your relationship with SkySynch, different channels may apply. If you are unsure which applies, contact us at [email protected] and we will guide you.
If you are an authorized administrator of a SkySynch customer account, you may request closure of the account and deletion of associated account profile data through the account or billing settings in the Service where available, or by emailing [email protected] from the registered account email. Please include your organization name, account identifier if known, and a clear statement that you wish to delete the account and associated personal data subject to legal exceptions described below.
Where your organization has multiple workspaces or sub-accounts, specify which environments should be deleted or confirm organization-wide deletion.
SkySynch customers typically act as controllers (or equivalent) for data their implementations collect about end users (for example, visitors to landing pages or app users exposed to ads). If you are an end user and believe an advertiser or publisher processed your information through SkySynch on their behalf, you should first contact that organization directly, as they are usually responsible for lawful basis, notices, and many data subject requests under applicable law.
If you contact SkySynch directly as an end user, we will (a) forward your request to the relevant customer where we can reasonably identify them and are permitted to do so, and/or (b) process deletion of data we hold as a processor where instructed by our customer and where technically feasible, consistent with our agreements and the law.
When submitting a request, you may specify categories where helpful—for example:
We may need additional information to locate data across backups, replicas, and logically separated tenant environments.
To protect privacy and security, we will verify the identity of the requester before deleting or disclosing personal data. Verification measures may include confirming control of the registered email address, multi-factor authentication where enabled, signed statements on company letterhead for organizational requests, or other reasonable steps proportionate to the sensitivity of the data and the risk of unauthorized deletion.
We may refuse manifestly unfounded or excessive requests, or requests we cannot verify, as permitted by applicable law. If we decline a request, we will explain the reason where we are legally allowed to do so.
We aim to acknowledge receipt of deletion requests promptly. For requests governed by the GDPR and similar laws, we typically respond within one month, which may be extended by up to two further months where complex or numerous requests make that necessary; we will inform you of any extension and the reasons.
Unless a shorter period is required by law or contract, we endeavor to complete deletion of primary production systems within thirty (30) days of verification and any required customer coordination. Residual copies in backups, disaster-recovery systems, or archival storage may persist for a limited additional period until those systems are rotated or purged according to our technical schedules; such copies are not used for operational processing except as needed for restoration, security, or legal compliance.
After we complete deletion to the extent required and practicable, we will confirm completion to the contact address used for the request, unless we are prohibited from doing so (for example, by a lawful gag order) or confirmation would compromise security. Confirmation may be high-level (for example, confirming account closure and erasure of specified categories) rather than an exhaustive technical audit log.
Even after a valid deletion request, we may retain certain information where required or permitted by law, including:
Where retention is required, we will restrict access and use to the purpose justifying retention and delete data when that purpose ends.
The Service integrates with advertising platforms, affiliate networks, analytics providers, payment processors, cloud infrastructure vendors, and other subprocessors. Deleting data in SkySynch systems does not automatically delete data held independently by those third parties.
Customers remain responsible for instructing subprocessors or platforms (for example, Meta, Google, TikTok) where separate deletion or opt-out flows apply. We will provide reasonable assistance to customers in fulfilling their obligations where contractually agreed and technically feasible.
SkySynch applies data retention schedules designed for advertising measurement use cases. Raw event data, logs, and derived reporting may be deleted or aggregated automatically after defined periods that depend on your plan, product configuration, and legal requirements. Retention settings may be documented in the product, order form, or data processing agreement.
Automated deletion runs on a schedule and may not be instantaneous. A manual deletion request may accelerate or broaden erasure beyond default retention where applicable law or contract requires.
Where SkySynch receives or processes data from Meta products (including Facebook, Instagram, or related advertising or measurement interfaces) on behalf of customers, we support industry-standard expectations for user control and platform compliance.
End users may remove an app’s access or request deletion through Meta’s interfaces (for example, Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites). Such actions may limit future data sharing; they do not always erase historical data already received by SkySynch. For erasure within SkySynch, customers should follow their internal processes and, where needed, instruct us as described in this Policy.
For Meta app review and compliance, you may use the following URL as the Data Deletion Instructions URL in the Meta Developer Console (or equivalent field), so users are directed to clear information on how to request deletion:
https://skysynch.net/data-deletion.html
If your SkySynch integration uses Facebook Login or other Meta features that require a Data Deletion Request Callback, register the HTTPS endpoint designated in your SkySynch workspace or onboarding documentation. Unless otherwise specified for your deployment, the callback URL for automated deletion notifications from Meta is:
https://skysynch.net/api/platform/meta/data-deletion-callback
That endpoint (when enabled for your account) acknowledges Meta’s signed requests, associates the notification with the correct customer tenant, and initiates deletion or restriction workflows consistent with this Policy and your instructions. If you operate a custom domain or dedicated instance, your account team may provide a different callback URL—use the URL shown in your SkySynch admin or contract.
Meta may change platform requirements; we will update this Policy or in-product notices when necessary to remain aligned with applicable developer policies.
Deleting account data, revoking tokens, or erasing historical measurement data may permanently remove access to dashboards, reports, and integrations tied to that data. Attribution history, billing records visible in the product, and audit trails may no longer be available. Deletion is irreversible except where we are still legally required to retain minimal records as described in Section 4.
Customers should export any data they need for their own compliance or business records before requesting deletion, where the product allows export.
